The Faraway Tree
Can't you see? Tell me that you
Believe in me,
Without your love Baby, can't you see?
I need you as you need me,
Without love I cannot breathe,
Without breath I cannot see,
Can't you see?
Believe in me, follow your heart
To the Faraway tree,
Something inside shows our destiny,
Climb up the branches, what can you see?
Embrace the love, love surrounding me
Take me back to my fantasy
Can't you see?
You and I, opening the door on
A lullaby,
Flying with wings of a butterfly
Swooping down low, through the clouds in the sky,
Hearing you gasp with delight and surprise,
Wonderous beasts, I can fantasise
Can't you see?
My wonderland, comes to me with a
Sprinkle of sand
And goes away with the light that demands
Work not play, it's fading away
Hold on, my love, too late for today
I have something I need to say,
Can't you see?
